Biocare Medical, LLC Romulin AEC Chromogen Kit - 100 ml
AEC is a widely used chromogen for immunohistochemical procedures. In the past, AEC chromogens required a water-soluble mounting media because it was soluble in organic solvents. Romulin AEC from Biocare produces a reddish-orange stain. However, it is not soluble in alcohol or xylene-and can be coverslipped just like DAB. It does not fade with permanent mounting media such as PermountTM. When in the presence of a peroxidase enzyme, Romulin AEC produces a reddish-orange stain. This product comes in a 4-component system consisting of ready-to-use buffer, stabilizer, chromogen and hydrogen peroxide.

Phosphatidic Acid (PA) is a critical precursor for the biosynthesis of many lipids in the cell and plays a critical role in membrane structure and acts as a signaling lipid, recruiting cytosolic proteins to the cell membrane. Cell Biolabs’ Total Phosphatidic Acid Assay Kit is a simple, fluorometric assay that quantitatively measures total phosphatidic acid content, including lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), in samples by a coupled enzymatic reaction system. First, lipase is used to hydrolyze phosphatidic acid in samples to glycerol-3-phosphate. Next, the glycerol-3-phosphate product is oxidized by glycerol-3-phosphate oxidase (GPO), producing hydrogen peroxide which reacts with the kit’s fluorometric probe and detected by fluorescence plate reader. The kit has a detection sensitivity limit of 5 µM. Each kit provides sufficient reagents to perform up to 100 assays, including blanks, standards and unknown samples.

The LSD1 Fluorimetric Drug Discovery Kit provides human recombinant LSD1 and all reagents for measuring its activity in a sensitive, real-time fluorescent assay. LSD1 catalyzed demethylation of the Histone H3 Dimethyl Lysine-4 Peptide (H3K4Me2 Peptide; BML-P256) produces hydrogen peroxide. A fluorescent signal is generated via the horseradish peroxidase (HRP) catalyzed reaction of the hydrogen peroxide with the CELLESTIAL Red Peroxidase Substrate (BML-KI565).
